Meet our Parrish Counselors!
I completed my Bachelor’s degree at Seattle Pacific University and my Masters in Counseling at George Fox University. I have worked for Salem Keizer Public Schools since 2003 as an Elementary School Counselor, Elementary Behavior Specialist, and Middle School Counselor. Prior to that I worked as a Mental Health Therapist. I have been at Parrish Middle School since January 2021 and love working with our Parrish Pioneers! I love connecting with students and families through art, humor, listening, and sharing stories.
Mr. Alex Brink
I attended the University of Oregon and obtained my M.Ed in School Counseling from Lewis and Clark College. I have worked as a counselor in the district since 2013 and joined the Parrish community in 2018. I love working with students and watching them grow and overcome the obstacles of middle school. I support Parrish students by connecting through music and humor as well as problem solving school and life challenges.
